North Myrtle Beach Office Supports ShutterUp Storm Latches

TORRINGTON, CT Norse announces the opening of a satellite office in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The company’s decision to have a physical presence in the Southeast is directly tied to sales and support of its ShutterUp Latches storm shutter fastening systems. The office opened in July of 2015.

According to Christopher Langer, the company’s Vice President, “We intend to provide support to developers and homeowners in the Southeast, in areas hit by hurricanes and tropical storms, who are looking for proven and tested do-it-yourself storm shutter protection. Our ShutterUp storm latching hardware is adaptable to almost any size window or door opening, including garages, storefronts, angled bay windows and gazebos. It’s also very customizable to fit non-standard installations. We can provide custom configurations that provide excellent, certified storm protection at a price point well below high-end rolldown systems.”

For sales and information contact the Norse satellite office at: 427 Windy Heights Drive, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29582. Telephone: (843) 273-0048.

About ShutterUp Latches
ShutterUp Latches carry Florida Building Code Product Approval (FPA# 15640) and Texas Department of Insurance SHU-197 approval for use in designated catastrophe areas on the Texas Gulf Coast. ShutterUp Latches provide a rugged, do-it-yourself alternative to expensive custom window shutters. They protect doors, sliding doors, angled bay windows, large picture windows and store fronts.

Key features of ShutterUp Latches include: clamping force of 500 lbs per each latch; installs on stucco, block, brick and wood; covers angular and large openings; steel construction; powdercoated rust-resistant coating; once installed, shutters hang and rehang in as little as 15 seconds.
